12,000 Steel Beams, 1,600 Glass Panels, 44 Escalators, 27 Elevators, and More

This Update Brought To You By
Titans fans, big things are happening — and you can see the new Nissan Stadium coming to life on the East Bank more every day.
This month brought a major milestone: the Terrace is now fully enclosed in steel as crews set the last pieces on the east side. With 8,600 of 12,400 steel beams now in place, the stadium is 70% through its major structural work and already starting to look like the home of the future for Titans fans.
Outside, the building’s signature look is starting to shine. Glass panels are being installed with 160 of the 1,600 now set, while crews have also begun attaching the aluminum composite metal panels on the west, south, and north facades. Nearly 300 are in place so far, with thousands more to come, wrapping the stadium in its sleek new skin.
Inside, it’s all about the fan experience. Five of the 27 elevators are underway and 39 of 44 escalators are already installed, making sure moving between concourses will be quick and easy.
Even the video boards are starting to go in thanks to Daktronics, the official large display partner of the Tennessee Titans! Daktronics will manufacture and install 37 displays totaling more than 77,000 square feet of LED displays lighting up replays, highlights, and every Titan Up moment.
Every panel, escalator, and steel beam is laying the foundation for an incredible fan experience. The excitement is building — literally — and we can’t wait to share more milestones as we march toward kickoff in 2027.
