Getting Closer to the End Zone
Titans fans, big things are happening on the East Bank — and the new Nissan Stadium is closing in on one of its biggest milestones yet.
Within the next two weeks, crews will complete the steel superstructure, setting all 12,400 pieces of steel that form the backbone of the stadium. When the final beam is raised, the team will celebrate a moment known as “topping out” — a huge milestone that signals the completion of the stadium’s frame and the transition from building the structure to bringing it to life.
Inside, the precast seating bowl is nearing the goal line with 2,130 of 2,461 pieces now in place. Every seat brings fans closer to the action — about 38% closer than in the current stadium — for an electric gameday experience.
The building’s exterior is transforming fast, too. Crews have installed 530 of 1,185 glass panels, the massive windows that will wrap the stadium in light and offer incredible views of downtown Nashville and the Cumberland River. These panels will give the stadium its sleek, open feel — connecting fans to the city around them.
Behind the scenes, the stadium’s six cooling towers have arrived on site. Think of them as the stadium’s giant air conditioners — circulating cool air through every level to keep fans, players, and staff comfortable on even the hottest Tennessee days.
And as construction moves forward, our team is walking every level of the stadium to shape the fan journey — planning how fans will move, explore, and experience the art, stories, and design elements that bring Titans legends and the spirit of Tennessee to life throughout the building.
Every beam, panel, and idea is one play closer to kickoff in 2027.
