The Tennessee Titans’ new Nissan Stadium is open for business.

As of Aug. 3, the 2.1 million-square-foot domed stadium is accepting event bookings ahead of its February 2027 completion. While accepting bookings years out, the team is prioritizing filling the spring 2027 calendar.

“It’s intentionally designed to host a variety of events and programming, so we’re approaching it from a special events lens to be able to host conferences, conventions, trade shows, business meetings and receptions in a really versatile way,” Dan Boyd, vice president of special events for the Titans, told the Business Journal.

The Titans declined to share pricing for events at the stadium, as it is dependent on multiple factors.

There are over 15 event spaces across the stadium, poised to host intimate 50-person dinners in a club to keynote speakers on the field, large conventions, corporate meetings with breakout sessions and entertainment — all able to tap into the stadium’s 77,000-square-foot scoreboards, AV, lighting and staging capabilities.

“The primary game changer for us is definitely the field. … So many of these corporate meetings, galas, fundraisers or events have a mixture of dining needs, speaker engagement and then entertainment. The field is really a blank canvas to be able to bring that to life,” Boyd said. “Then also, the ability to use the seating bowl for some fixed seating environments and different staging configurations. The field allows us to be really custom and scale that to a large level with some of these citywide conventions that are already coming to Nashville.”

Another standout event space at the stadium is the upper west terrace and landing, an indoor-outdoor space that can seat 500.

“On the interior concourse level of our terrace, it allows us to have a stage, seating, this dramatic background of the venue and the video boards, then you turn 180 degrees, walk outside and you’re on this 44,000-square-foot terrace overlooking the downtown skyline and the Cumberland River,” Boyd said. “That’s a versatile venue that can be a great fit for receptions and presentations in a very social setting.”

Inquiries can be made on the new Nissan Stadium website, where interested parties will be asked several questions about their event. Then a Titans sales team member will reach out and walk the business through booking to post event follow-up. Convention demand continues to play a vital role in Nashville’s over $11 billion tourism industry, as seen by the Music City Center’s expansion plans.

“We have some of the best convention centers here in town that are busy on a year-round basis. We think we can complement those as an off-site opportunity to present a unique way to bring everybody under one roof,” Boyd said. “While at the same time, being able to have a standalone venue in a third location that has thousands of square feet of usable event space in ways that can be creative. We believe in the destination as a standalone, but then also the complementary nature.”

The Titans broke ground on the $2.2 billion stadium in February 2024 and have remained on track to hit its February 2027 completion throughout the construction process.

Earlier this summer, the iconic Bluebird Cafe announced its partnership with the Titans to open a location within the stadium.
