The Next Chapter Continues to Take Shape

As you come back to the current Nissan Stadium this month for the kickoff to the Farewell Season, take a moment to look over at the new stadium; you’ll like what you see!
The bowl is really coming to life. Crews have already installed field drainage piping, field goal post foundations, and pylon camera foundations. The Daktronics team has also been hard at work installing the game clocks, west LED board, and main concourse ribbon board.
The stone, metal panels, brick, and now-completed glass curtainwall system are transforming the building from a construction site into a stadium. Finishing the curtainwall was a huge milestone. It also meant the temporary outdoor elevator system could finally come down, and crews are getting ready to move through the building using interior service, freight, and passenger elevators instead
The Nissan Stadium letters are up on the north and south sides, with east and west on the way. Soon you’ll see Nissan Stadium lighting up the Nashville skyline. You’ll also start seeing even more progress on the stadium’s iconic roof: the first ETFE cushions went in on August 31! These cushions will eventually enclose the building, letting in sunlight while keeping fans comfortable and protected from the weather.
Fan areas outside the building are coming together, too. Sidewalks are in along Interstate Drive, and concrete paver installation at the West Entry is moving right along. Fans can even buy their own paver to leave their mark on the new stadium.
Back on the inside, concrete aisle steps are fully complete, and crews from Irwin Seating Company are about to install the first seats this September! The community room is also shaping up nicely, with glass wall installation now done. Drywall has made great progress, and crews are moving on to wooden doors and window treatments throughout the building.
With Week 1 almost here, we can’t wait to celebrate the Farewell Season with you. And while you’re cheering on the Titans one last time in the current stadium, know that crews are working hard across the way to make the new stadium feel like home in 2027!
