Nearing the Halfway Point!
Titans fans, we’ve hit a major milestone — we’re closing in on the halfway mark of construction for the New Nissan Stadium! With 4,000 workers on-site and more than 2 million work hours already logged, the energy on the East Bank is stronger than ever.
Inside the stadium, progress is happening at every turn. The first batch of elevators has arrived for the north side, and installation on the first two of the 27 total will begin soon. In all, fans will have 77 different ways to move between levels, ensuring smooth access from concourse to concourse. Drywall is going up, shaping out interior spaces that will soon be buzzing with pregame energy and giving us the first real glimpse of what game day will feel like.
Outside, the stadium’s signature look is starting to take shape. The first façade ribbon panels are being installed on the level 300 west elevation, and glass panels are now going into place on the northwest side. We’re also building the base for the iconic “perfect circle” ETFE roof, which will span 660 feet across. The first shipment of the roof’s massive lifting cables is on its way from Italy, setting the stage for a defining feature of our new home.
We’re halfway through our steel work, and 1,078 precast stadia pieces are already in place, forming the bones of the seating bowl. As football season continues, the rest will lock into position, giving the stadium its full shape.
Looking ahead, exterior finishes will begin going up this fall, adding the bold design details that will define the stadium for decades to come. Beyond the building itself, the surrounding infrastructure is also coming together, with a new South 2nd Street, road upgrades, and utilities work underway. A temporary pedestrian route on 2nd Avenue will even connect fans to KVB/Shelby on game days this fall.
Every week, the new Nissan Stadium looks more and more like the home of the future for Titans fans — and we can’t wait for you to experience it when we open the doors in 2027.
