Big Things Are Happening at the Stadium!
The stadium is truly taking shape, and you can feel the excitement in the air! The steel roof superstructure steadily rose this month and now defines the west end of the stadium, giving us a real glimpse of its impressive future silhouette. With 28% of the steel installation complete, the team is pushing full steam ahead to prepare for the next big milestone: the ring beam installation for the roof, which kicks off in June.

On the terrace level, the first concrete slab has been poured for the large outdoor terrace—picture fans soaking in amazing downtown views from this spot! Meanwhile, the seating bowl is coming to life with 650 out of 2,461 precast stadia pieces already installed. The stadia’s off-site fabrication is running smoothly to keep things moving at this fast pace.
The exterior is also making great progress. Framing and sheathing are well underway, setting the stage for the sleek glass and metal panel cladding that will begin later this summer. Inside, 35% of the concrete masonry walls are complete—185,000 square feet down, 510,000 in total. Also on the move are the escalators! We’ve got 24 of the eventual 44 already in place.
Behind the scenes, the work on power, HVAC, and plumbing is ramping up. We’ve installed three massive generators, and the ductwork is starting to arrive—including some giant 6-foot-wide sections for the seating bowl. With nearly 100,000 linear feet of plumbing pipe already installed, the systems that will keep the stadium running are well on their way.
To support all of this, we’ve added a second buck hoist on the east side to help transport materials and workers efficiently. With an average of 1,100 workers onsite daily and over 1.75 million labor hours already logged, the momentum is strong. Best of all? We’re staying right on track for LEED Gold certification—90% of our construction materials are recycled!
