November Construction Updates for the New Nissan Stadium

Hey everyone! Here’s a quick and exciting update on the construction progress for the new Nissan Stadium this November.

We’ve kicked off work on the foundations and retaining walls for the cooling tower and southeast cistern. These are crucial steps in getting our structure all set up and sturdy. Speaking of foundations, they’re now complete throughout the structure, with just the cooling tower and southeast cistern left to wrap up.

Our concrete columns are really taking shape across multiple levels of the building. new Nissan Stadium We’re also full steam ahead with concrete framing, forming, and reinforcing, which set us up for some significant concrete pours later in the month in the north suite level, a mezzanine level that supports employee entrances, our Upper Edgefield suites, and northwest stair landings.

Over on the elevated decks, we’ve made substantial progress on the west, north, and south sides at various levels. The Earth Retention System along Interstate Drive that forms the loading dock is coming along nicely too, especially around the southeast corner and the north and south ramps.

As for the Underground MEP Systems, electrical installations are ongoing in the west and east areas, while plumbing systems are being concurrently set up across the west, east, and parking garage zones.

Last but not least, we’ve started the groundwork preparation for the slab on grade pours. The first slab was successfully placed on Nov. 8, setting the stage for the next steps.
